Synopsis

What do you need to say to the world right now? Three playwrights took this question, and used it as inspiration for brand-new, ten-minute plays. Join us for a one-night-only performance of their work on February 12 at New Plays for a New Year. This festival pairs acclaimed directors with a playwright of their choosing, leading to innovative collaborations between some of the most exciting artists working today.

This event will be open-captioned, and Accessibility services for audience members who are Blind or low-vision will include audio character descriptions and stage directions being read aloud.

New Plays for a New Year is free to attend, but registration is required. To register, click the performance date on the calendar at right, then select “RSVP” when it appears below the calendar. You will need to log into or create a Victory Gardens account to complete your registration. The day of the event, you will receive an email to the address you registered with, including details on how to access the stream.
