Rebekah Ward (she/her) is thrilled to be involved with Victory Gardens’ Ignite Chicago. She has worked with multiple Chicago and Regional theatres, including the Goodman, Steppenwolf, Northlight Theatre, IRT (Indiana Repertory), The HOUSE Theatre, BackStage Theatre Company, Strawdog Theatre Company, Oak Park Festival Theatre, and Remy Bumppo. She received a Joseph Jefferson Best Actress award for her work as Sabina in “The Skin of Our Teeth” as well as a Joseph Jefferson Best Supporting Actress Nomination for her role as Edna in “Waiting for Lefty”. Rebekah’s film/television credits include roles on Empire (FOX), Shameless (SHOWTIME), Chicago Med, Chicago PD & Chicago Fire (NBC), Masters of Sex (SHOWTIME),and Sam & Cat (NICKELODEON). Her most recent film work includes a supporting role in the critically acclaimed film Saint Frances (SXSW Audience Award, Champs-Élysées Film Festival Critic’s Choice).
