Dive into a thought-provoking play that challenges what you know about culture and connection in this World Premiere experience.
The Humanities is a provocative play by Zayd Ayers Dohrn in which faculty and students at an elite American university grapple with issues of gender, race, sex, and violence when a controversial speaker comes to town. Cultural battles are fought, identities are made and unmade, and people accustomed to the life of the mind are forced to confront their most primal instincts.
Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, Nora Dunn has regretfully stepped away from the Victory Gardens production of The Humanities.
