Pre-Show Celebration | Post-Show Panel Conversation

One-quarter of all U.S. Latinos self-identify as Afro-Latino, Afro-Caribbean or of African descent with roots in Latin America. Though an integral population in American history and a huge percentage of the American population today, why is Afro Latinidad rarely explored or celebrated in mainstream culture? Where are there gaps in conversations around this community of people? Join Encuentro hosts Amor Montes de Oca and Adriana Diaz for pre-show refreshments from Fiesta Mexicana, then stick around for this riveting special Afterwords post-show conversation.

Public Programs are free and open to the public and do not require an RSVP. Come to one or come to all. We’d love to have you!
