Acting for the Musical Stage

Study acting for the musical stage with acclaimed teacher/performer Kathy Cowan. With Kathy you will work on song interpretation, presentation, character and vocal technique as well as moment-to-moment work, and clarity, truthfulness and simplicity in your acting. Students of all levels, from beginner to professional are welcome. All styles of music from show tunes to opera are welcome. Use the class for your best purpose: preparing audition material, working on your voice and acting, or just for fun. Come prepared with sheet music to sing at the first class. Our eight-class session ends with a showcase class. An accompanist is provided at all classes.
