Ruth Landis

Ruth Landis’ unique approach to coaching actors utilizes her skills as a body-psychotherapist to deepen physical and emotional awareness for the performer. This work is rooted in Gestalt, Alexander, and Feldenkrais techniques, visualization, and sensory awareness to create greater safety, freedom, spontaneity, and joy in the creative process. Ruth conducts workshops world-wide and has directed for Victory Gardens, Northwestern, Lifeline, and Cortland Rep. She has worked as an actor extensively on-camera and performed at Steppenwolf, Victory Gardens, Apollo, Goodman, Next, Court, and Wisdom Bridge theatres. Ruth received her graduate and post graduate degrees from Northwestern University. Ruth was a presenter at the International Enneagram Conference in August, 2006.
